Project Psychosocial
Health Index
Psychosocial health in the workplace is now clearly on the agenda in Australia and internationally. And, about time too. Psychosocial hazards are any occupational hazard connected to the way work is designed, organised and managed. Leaders need efficient data to quickly evaluate risk and seek opportunities for improvement.
PHIX builds on the psychosocial standards of SafeWork Australia, and the global research on workplace health and wellbeing, to bring a unique focus to the specific psychosocial risks associated with projects in the infrastructure, mining, and construction sectors. Workers in these sectors are exposed to hazards and pressures that are dissimilar to other industries.
How the mix of distinct stakeholder teams interact and intersect on projects
What level of success confidence or success stress exists on the project
Whether the culture is collaborative or combat oriented
